More about Potential Kids

Potential Kids is a Hatfield based charity that provides social activities for neurodiverse children and young people (Autism, ADHD and related conditions), their families and siblings.

We offer after-school and weekend activity sessions at our training room in a secure part of the Galleria for children and young people.  These are small enough in numbers to reduce social anxieties and fears.

The group is held in a safe and understanding environment, where our young people can be understood, accepted and have the opportunity of meeting others like themselves.

Our young people will have the time and space to enable them to learn and develop their social and communication skills, through play with other similar children. Most who attend will have limited opportunities to socialise, learn and have fun, as they may have been unable to join other mainstream clubs. We provide an avenue for young people to reduce their social isolation, increase their self-esteem, whilst also building their self-confidence.

Old Management Suite, The Galleria Outlet Centre, Comet Way, Hatfield, Herts, AL10 0XR

Second Saturday of the Month 10-12 pm Gamer’s Coding Sessions (email to book)

Breaks Manor, Link Drive, Hatfield, Herts AL10 8EY

Third Saturday of the Month 10-12 pm Monthly Stay & Play sessions – No booking required, just turn up.
Also Monthly Yoga; Girl’s Group; Boy’s Group

Multi-Functional Sports & Football Sessions; 1:1 Cycling Sessions (email to book)

First Saturday of the Month 11-12 pm Our FREE SEN JUDO ‘Eagles’ Sessions – No booking required, just turn up Age 6+ (funded by Potential Kids)

Unless stated, our sessions must be attended at ALL times by a responsible parent/carer aged over 18 years or they must remain on the premises. Some sessions will need to be booked in advance by emailing info@potentialkids.org or peter@potentialkids.org.  Numbers may be limited, so if booking is required please do so in plenty of time. ALL sessions will be subject to completion of a registration form and any other relevant paperwork requested.
