The Galleria Outlet Shopping Centre strongly believes in supporting local communities through charity partnerships and other local corporate responsibilities initiatives.
Local Charity Partnership, Willow Foundation
We are delighted to announce that, from the 1st October 2018, Willow Foundation is The Galleria's local charity partner.
Based in Welwyn Garden City, the Willow Foundation is the only charity working with seriously ill young adults aged 16 to 40 to fulfil uplifting and unforgettable Special Days. These Special Days enable them and their families to reconnect and refocus on each other while enjoying an activity of their choosing. A day for them, a day about them and a day that will create memories they will all treasure forever.
Founded by former Arsenal goalkeeper and TV presenter, Bob Wilson and his wife, Megs, Willow is a lasting memorial to their daughter, Anna, who died of cancer aged 31. Anna’s love of life and the enriching experiences of her own Special Days were the charity’s inspiration.
Willow is totally reliant on the generosity of individuals, companies, trusts and foundations to fund its work.

The Galleria Supports Potential Kids
Potential Kids is voluntary non-profit organisation based in Hatfield, aiming to help children and young people with Special Educational Needs, their siblings and families by providing social/activity groups.
We offer after-school and weekend activity sessions at our training room in a secure part of the Galleria for children and young people. These are small enough in numbers to reduce social anxieties and fears.
The group is held in a safe and understanding environment, where our young people can be understood, accepted and have the opportunity of meeting others like themselves.
Our young people will have the time and space to enable them to learn and develop their social and communication skills, through play with other similar children. Most who attend will have limited opportunities to socialise, learn and have fun, as they may have been unable to join other mainstream clubs. We provide an avenue for young people to reduce their social isolation, increase their self-esteem, whilst also building their self-confidence.
NEW! We are delighted to announce that Potential Kids are also in the process of launching a new initiative at The Galleria - Potential to Grow find out more here
