The Galleria Outlet Shopping Centre strongly believes in supporting local communities through charity partnerships and other local corporate responsibilities initiatives.
Coporate Charity Partner, Barnardo's
Barnardo’s, the UK’s largest and oldest children’s charity, has been chosen as the corporate charity partner of Landsec, who own and manage The Galleria Outlet Shopping Centre.
The three-year partnership follows a vote by staff at the FTSE 100 firm. Landsec hopes to raise a significant amount of money for the charity, which will be used to help some of the most vulnerable children and young people in the UK.
Volunteering for Barnardo's
At The Galleria Outlet Shopping Centre we are always looking for enthusiastic local volunteers to help us run fundraising events in aid of our charity partner, Barnardo’s. If you would be interested in supporting us please get in touch with email@example.com or on 0208 498 7630 to find out more. Thank you!
Local Charity Partnership, Willow Foundation
We are delighted to announce that, from the 1st October 2018, Willow Foundation is The Galleria's local charity partner.
Based in Welwyn Garden City, the Willow Foundation is the only charity working with seriously ill young adults aged 16 to 40 to fulfil uplifting and unforgettable Special Days. These Special Days enable them and their families to reconnect and refocus on each other while enjoying an activity of their choosing. A day for them, a day about them and a day that will create memories they will all treasure forever.
Founded by former Arsenal goalkeeper and TV presenter, Bob Wilson and his wife, Megs, Willow is a lasting memorial to their daughter, Anna, who died of cancer aged 31. Anna’s love of life and the enriching experiences of her own Special Days were the charity’s inspiration.
Willow is totally reliant on the generosity of individuals, companies, trusts and foundations to fund its work.
