H'Arts in Mind Open Studios
H’Arts
in
Mind
will
be
holding
their
Open
Studios
this
September
as
part
of
the
Herts
Visual
Arts
Open
Studios.
A
grand
opening
by
the
Hon
Mayor
Councillor
Lynn
Chesterman
OBE
and
her
consort
Councillor
Alan
Chesterman
will
take
place
at
11am
on
Saturday
20th
September.
This
will
be
followed
by
a
Book
Signing
promoting
‘Reflections
a
window
into
a
life’
by
the
amazing
poet
and
author
Alyson
Torns
who
uses
creative
writing
to
help
people
with
their
mental
health
express
their
emotions.
Alyson
has
had
poems
and
paintings
published
in
The
Otolith,
Past
Simple,
Great
Works,
Veer
Off,
Poetry
Saltzburg
Review,
Poetry
London,
The
Interpreter’s
House,
Fire,
The
Wolf,
Neon
Highway,
Hanging
Johnny
and
Tears
in
the
Fence.
Alyson’s
paintings
have
been
shown
in
the
Pallant
Gallery,
The
Kings
Place
Guardian
Gallery
and
included
in
the
Museum
of
Everything
#2book
and
the
Outside
in
Gallery.
Guests
can
take
part
in
the
workshops
and
artist
demonstrations
at
the
gallery
as
well
as
enjoy
viewing
diverse
art
from
over
30
artists
–
2D
and
3D
on
the
following
dates:
18th,
19th,
20th,
21st
25th,
26th,
27th
and
28th
September
11am-5pm
(12-4pm
Sundays).
As
well
as
providing
the
community
with
an
amazing
arts
centre
space,
volunteer
led
charity
H’arts
in
Mind
provides
low-cost
art
sessions,
believing
in
the
power
of
art
for
well-being.
