The Skate into Christmas event, both Ice Skating and Bumper Cars Rinks, will be open from 17 November 2025 until the Start of January 2026 (exact closing date to be confirmed).
You’ll find us at the entrance to The Galleria on the Ground floor, you won’t miss us!
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your session to allow time for check-in and Skate fitting/ getting your Bumper Car ready to spin.

Is there accessible parking available at the Galleria?
Yes, parking is free for disabled patrons for 3 hours and can be found in 3 locations, (i) the North Car Park near McDonalds (ii) Level 3 of our Multi-Storey Car Park (iii) Outdoor Plaza Car Park opposite the Mall Bridge.
Each Skating session lasts 45 minutes from the scheduled start time. You may enter after your start time, but this will reduce your time on the Ice. Each Bumper Car session lasts for 5 minutes. That is plenty of time to spin and bump and you don’t want to miss a second of that!
Yes! There is nothing like a bit of ice to usher in the Festive Season.
Absolutely! Ice Skate hire is included with your ticket at no additional cost. Skates are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, so arrive early for your preferred size
Yes, we love Skaters! You’re welcome to bring your own Skates.
Yes, we have Bob Skates available for younger children who need extra support.
A limited number of Penguin/Dolphin Ice Skate Aids are available for hire at small cost. They are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and can be reserved when purchasing tickets online.

We recommend warm, waterproof clothing and gloves - you’re Skating on Ice!
Yes, the minimum age is 3 years old. All children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
There are trained Skating/ Bumper Car Marshals on the Ice at all times during every session.
No – we have a roof so Skating/ Bumper Cars continues in all weather conditions.
Yes, you’re welcome to take photos of yourself/ your group. However, please note that The Galleria does not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to personal belongings.
Yes. For school visits, we ask that one adult is present for every two children. Please contact our team in advance to arrange a group booking.
Yes! To ensure we make your experience amazing, please contact us before your visit so we can provide guidance and assistance.
Yes, a limited number of lockers are available on site. Please keep belongings to a minimum as storage space is limited.
Yes. There are toilets on the ground and first floors.
The ground floor toilets are located next to Pro Cook. The ground floor Baby Change facilities are located next to Le Creuset.
The first-floor toilets are located in the South Corridor by M&S.
Both toilets have Parent and Baby rooms and Disabled toilet.

Tickets are sold online and via our team on site. Both are subject to availability, so it is always best to pre-book.
No – once you have pre-booked you will receive an email confirmation with all the required details.
The festive fun awaits! Head to the Boot Room, select your skates or put your own skates on and make sure you’re ready to head onto the skating/bumper car rink.
You can amend your booking up to 48 hours before your scheduled session. However, you will not be able to transfer your tickets or any other tickets to anyone else.
Refunds will not be offered for any sessions people are not able to attend. Should there be a need to cancel a session because of something out of the customers’ control then an alternative session will be offered instead.
Yes – Ice Skating and Ice Bumper Cars are a great gift! These can be purchased and used during this season’s Ice Rink sessions.
We certainly do – These are automatically applied to your online basket before you check out.
We do not offer refunds on any purchased tickets. If any session is cancelled or curtailed, ticket holders will be offered an alternative session (depending on availability). In the unlikely event that the Rinks need to close, alternative sessions will be offered depending on availability. If you have been removed from the Ice Rinks or the venue for inappropriate behaviour, you will not be offered an alternative session.
