This Christmas, you can help make a difference to a child in need with The Galleria Giving Tree, supporting Kids Out.

For many children, Christmas is a time of excitement, presents and family celebrations. But for children affected by domestic abuse, it can be a particularly difficult time.

Every year, around 24,000 children across the UK who have experienced domestic abuse are forced to leave behind their friends, family and familiar surroundings to move into safe accommodation, often arriving with little more than the clothes on their backs.

A gift at such a challenging time can mean more than you might imagine. The Christmas Toy Box initiative exists because every child deserves kindness, dignity and the magic of childhood, especially at Christmas.

This year, The Galleria is proud to support Kids Out, a nationwide charity that provides days out, support and gift boxes to children affected by domestic abuse. Every year, Kids Out delivers an incredible 10,000 toy boxes and 5,000 days out to children across the UK.

Now, we're inviting our shoppers and local community to get involved and help make Christmas a little brighter for a child who needs it most.

How to Get Involved with The Galleria Giving Tree
Taking part is simple, and every gift can make a difference.

1. Pick a label
Visit one of our Giving Trees, located at Customer Service in Santa's Workshop or at The Entertainer on the Upper Mall. Choose a Kids Out label from 20th November to get started.

2. Find out what a child would love
Each label will provide details of the gift requested, helping you choose something special for a child this Christmas.

3. Give a gift
Purchase the requested gift or donation using the QR code provided.

4. Drop off your gift
Bring your gift to The Entertainer on the Upper Mall, ready to help make Christmas special.

5. Spread the word
Share your Giving Tree moment on social media and encourage friends, family and colleagues to get involved too.
