We’re delighted to be the host of Potters Bar & District Photographic Society’s Annual Exhibition for another year and after two weeks the results are officially in!

It was such a treat to see our space filled with beautiful photos from landscapes and wildlife to portraits and aviation. We loved seeing so many of you stop, look, and chat about your favourites. We asked you to choose the pictures that caught your eye, and after counting over 100 votes, we’re so excited to share the winners.

Congratulations to David Fordham who’s been awarded the Hornby Trophy! His wonderful picture, “No room at the Inn,” really captured your hearts this year, this special trophy has been a local tradition since 1968. And a massive well done to Manjari Shah for winning the Exhibition Cup! Her amazing photograph “Spot the difference” took the top spot for the Society’s General Class.

Fiona Adamson the Society’s Exhibition Secretary shared some lovely words with us, saying that the space here at The Galleria always lets their members show off a huge variety of work. We’re just happy we could give these talented local artists a place to shine!

We love supporting local groups like the Potters Bar & District Photographic Society, who believe that photography is for everyone no matter your skill level or what camera you use. If you were inspired by the work, why not join them? The Society meets every Monday at 7:30pm at Wyllyotts Theatre. They even offer up to your first three visits for free!

You can find all the details at pottersbarphotosoc.org.uk and on Facebook. We’re already looking forward to seeing what they capture next!
